Identifying the Right Part: Model Numbers & Specifications

Step 1 — What part do you need?

Why Using the Wrong Capacitor Can Kill Your Compressor

Wrong µF = Motor Burnout

A capacitor rated 10 µF above spec causes the motor to draw 20–30% excess current. Over weeks, this overheats the motor windings and causes permanent burnout — a ₹8,000–₹15,000 repair.

Voltage Rating Matters Too

Always use a 450V AC rated capacitor, not 250V. A lower voltage rating will fail within days under normal AC operating conditions, potentially causing a short circuit.

The Safe Rule: Match Exactly

Match the µF rating within ±5% and always meet or exceed the voltage rating. When in doubt, use an OEM capacitor from the AC manufacturer's service centre.

Universal AC Remotes: Setting Up Codes for Indian & Global Brands

Universal remotes use IR code libraries to mimic your original remote. Most support 2,000+ AC models. Programming takes under 2 minutes using the brand code method.

Daikin0001, 0002, 0003
LG0004, 0005, 0006
Voltas0010, 0011
Panasonic0007, 0008
Hitachi0012, 0013
Samsung0009, 0014

Programming Steps

  1. 1Insert 2 × AA batteries into the universal remote
  2. 2Hold the SET button for 3 seconds until LED blinks
  3. 3Enter your brand code from the table (e.g., 0001 for Daikin)
  4. 4Point at AC and press Power — if it responds, done!
  5. 5If not, try the next code for your brand
